VFFA Annual Auction Night – Meal reservation $50.
Book now, or go hungry.
Thursday 15 October, 6.30pm | The Kelvin Club, Melbourne
It’s that time of year again. The VFFA Annual Auction is one of the most popular nights on the club calendar and always pulls a good crowd. It’s also our General Meeting, so come for the business, stay for the bidding.
Hugh Maltby is back on the gavel, and anyone who’s seen Hughie in full flight knows it’s worth the price of admission on its own.
What’s going under the hammer
Expect a solid spread of flyfishing gear, including:
- Rods, reels and lines
- Vests, flies and fly boxes
- Fly tying gear and materials
- Boots, waders and plenty more
A full list of lots will go out to members before the night, so you can plan your attack (and your budget).
Got gear to donate?
If there’s gear sitting in the shed that deserves a better life, we’d love to include it. Get in touch with Hugh at reddtag@hotmail.com so it can go in the catalogue.
A couple of notes:
- No books this year
- Please no boots or waders that are past their best
How donations work
- Donated outright: 20 per cent of the winning bid goes to the association.
- Items with a reserve: if the item sells above reserve, 20 per cent of the winning bid goes to the association and the rest comes back to you.
Every dollar raised goes straight back into running the club and supporting members.
Book your spot below and we’ll see you there.
